Your Rain-Kissed Eyes

In the deep stillness of night,

When darkness thickly descends,

Your memory peeks out,

In those rain-kissed eyes.

Are water droplets on the leaves,

Or are these your own tears?

In every drop, a sorrow written,

Comfort too, descends into my eyes.

Wind slips through the window,

Bringing your sigh with it.

The night sky silently wipes away,

But what about the tears gathered in your eyes?

With wet eyes, you gaze,

As if holding a hidden truth.

My heart too, is drenched today,

In the silent presence of your memory.

তোমার বৃষ্টি ভেজা চোখ

গভীর রাতের নিস্তব্ধতা,

যখন নামে আঁধার ঘন।

তোমার স্মৃতি উঁকি দেয়,

বৃষ্টি ভেজা ওই চোখে।

জলকণা জমেছে পাতায়,

নাকি এ তোমারই কান্না?

প্রতি ফোঁটায় লেখা এক ব্যথা,

আমার চোখেও নেমে আসে সান্ত্বনা।

জানালা গলে আসে বাতাস,

বয়ে আনে তোমার দীর্ঘশ্বাস।

নিঃশব্দে মোছে রাতের আকাশ,

কিন্তু তোমার চোখে জমে থাকা জল কী আর মোছে?

ভেজা চোখে তুমি তাকিয়ে,

যেন কোনো লুকানো কথা।

আমার মনও আজ ভিজছে,

তোমার স্মৃতির এই নীরবতায়।
